Our goal is to handle nature’s valuable resources with care and sensitivity to actively protect the environment and reduce our impact on the climate.
Sustainability is not an extra here, but part of everyday life.
Water - We value every drop
To keep water consumption low without compromising guest comfort, we use flow restrictors on sinks and showers, as well as stop buttons on toilet flushes.This ensures water is not wasted unnecessarily.
Cleaning Agents - Clean with care
We prioritize the use of environmentally friendly and skin-compatible cleaning products to minimize environmental impact and support guests with allergies.
Wherever possible, we use refill or bulk containers – for example, reusable glass bottles for housekeeping.
We also use dosing systems to reduce the consumption of cleaning agents and minimize our ecological footprint.
Lighting - It’s all about the right balance
A modern lighting concept controls the hotel’s illumination.
Energy-efficient bulbs provide sufficient brightness while saving energy.
In general, lights are only turned on when needed.
Waste Management - Small changes, big impact
We are constantly working to improve our environmental footprint.
Measures include refillable soap and shampoo dispensers, eco-friendly paper bags, and avoiding disposable dishes and packaging.
Waste is sorted wherever possible. Food waste is professionally recycled by external providers to help cut CO₂ emissions.
To reduce food waste, our restaurant guests can choose between regular and smaller portion sizes.
Breakfast - Sustainable and Delicious!
In our hotel, the breakfast offering is designed to be eco-friendly and sustainable.
Many of the food items on the buffet come from the local region. Shorter delivery routes help reduce the environmental impact.
Additionally, packaging waste is minimized, and unnecessary waste is avoided. This way, every guest can start the day feeling full and with a clear conscience after a hearty breakfast.
Purchasing - Eco-conscious and regional
We choose a wide range of products that enhance our guests’ stay – with a focus on sustainability.
Many items are sourced from local suppliers.
We also avoid processed and pre-packaged products to reduce our ecological impact.
Mobility - E-charging station for electric cars
To support eco-friendly travel, our underground garage includes two electric charging stations.
Environmentally conscious guests can conveniently recharge their EVs during their stay.
Internal Initiatives - Working together to make a difference
We aim to reduce environmental harm by cutting plastic waste, saving energy, and conserving water.
Our team is regularly trained in sustainability practices and encouraged to conserve resources.
We also invite our guests to contribute by using resources responsibly.
Overnight Stay - #ThinkGreen
We clean your room every second day to reduce water, electricity, and cleaning chemicals, while also lowering the hotel’s carbon footprint and environmental impact.
If you prefer daily cleaning, simply let us know. We’ll gladly change your towels, empty the bin, and refill amenities daily upon request.
Print & copy paper - sustainability through digitalization
Our front desk team is environmentally conscious and prefers to send offers and invoices via email. This saves paper, energy, and costs.
Only what is absolutely necessary is printed. In the event of misprints, the paper is reused as scrap paper, ensuring it still serves a useful purpose.
